What is Startups4Peace
About
Startups4Peace (Su4P) is a bi-communal accelerator programme funded by the European Union under the eunite Programme, implemented by GIZ International Services. In close partnership with CyprusInno, CYENS, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
Since 2015, Su4P has brought together Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs through structured bootcamps, expert mentoring, and a joint pitch competition. It is the island's leading initiative at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, and peacebuilding.
In 2026, Su4P enters a new phase. The programme remains what it has always been a platform for founders from both communities to build, connect, and compete. But it now sits within a broader ecosystem. The eunite angel investor network is active. The A2F investment readiness pathway is operational. For the first time, top Su4P graduates have a structured route from the programme directly into investor conversations and the capital pipeline that follows.
Su4P 2026 is not just an accelerator. For the most investor-ready teams, it is the starting point of a funded growth journey.
Su4P 2026 builds on a decade of bi-communal entrepreneurship. For the first time, top graduates have a structured road from the programme directly into investor conversations through the eunite angel investor network as well as seed funding top 3 winning teams.
€20,000 in seed funding - awarded as follows:
• 1st place: €10,000
• 2nd place: €5,000
• 3rd place: €5,000
All top 3 teams attend Web Summit Lisbon 2026. Travel, accommodation, and per diem costs are covered for up to two individuals per winning team.
Su4P will provide support to new and fledgling businesses through the delivery of;
- Opportunity for networking across Cyprus.
- Series of workshops as part of two residential bootcamps;
- “One-to-one” mentoring sessions depending on the needs of the startups;
- A “Pitching battle” where startups will compete with their business ideas to impress an independent jury to receive seed funding and attendance to WEB SUMMIT LISBON.
- The winners of the Pitching Battle will get the chance to attend the legendary startup event, Web Summit, in Lisbon, Portugal.
